Пожилой диспетчер немецкой береговой охраны объясняет новичку некие тонкости работы. Закончив, на прощанье дружески хлопает новичка по плечу и уходит. Тут то и начинается самое интересное: «Mayday Mayday we are sinking!» (Помогите! Помогите! Мы тонем!) — надрывается приемник. На что юный «полиглот» цинично отвечает «What are you thinking about?» (О чем вы думаете?). В общем, становится ясно, что новому диспетчеру береговой охраны просто жизненно необходимо обратиться в языковой центр Berlitz. Пока не все корабли с англичанами на борту утонули.
